The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of a button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots of this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
